Linguaschools Granada

I stayed in Granada for 4 weeks in the summer and loved the school and the city. The teachers were brilliant and very experienced. My main goal was to improve my fluency, because I knew loads of grammar, but couldn't put it to use while speaking. I think I improved a lot. The teachers were good listeners and did a great job motivating me to speak in Spanish only. They also had a very systemised way of teaching grammar, which suited me well. And most importantly, they were the loveliest people, made the classes fun, and I consider them my friends now :) I also enjoyed the small class sizes and that the learning pace was intensive, allowing quick improvement. I chose the shared apartment for my accommodation and was satisfied with the quality, would recommend it to others. It looked nice and was very comfortable. However I thought that the kitchen wasn't as well-equipped as described, since there was no oven. Overall I would highly recommend this school to anyone motivated to learn Spanish!

I have attended spanish classes at several schools in Spain and the school in Granada was definitely one of the best. At the time when I went there, there were very few students, so it felt like one small family. Teachers were very good - I particularly liked grammar classes and learned a lot in just one week - I could feel the progress I made. I was at intermediate level, so of course we only spoke Spanish. Apart from the standard curriculum we also covered subjects that were related to Granada: it was a great way to learn more about this amazing city. Plus, the atmosphere was very cosy, we had a lot of fun during the classes, which made the learning process very enjoyable. I would love to return one day.

Last year, post covid, I decided I wanted to travel again, especially visit more of Spain and also improve my spoken Spanish. So I spoke to a friends and he recommended Lingua school so I booked a week (including accommodation) during September 2021 for beginner/intermediate lessons. This turned out to be one of the best decisions and weeks I’d ever had! The teaching was brilliant; fun, relative and interactive. The other students were from totally different parts of the world, this really added to the experience and reminded me of university. Then, there is the fact you’re in one of the best cities in Spain with so much to do and see! After school you can visit the Alhambra, go for endless (free) tapas, and then enjoy the varied nightlife of the city. I enjoyed it so much I came back to do another 2 weeks!

Hola chicos, I wanted to make a quick review for any queer people who start reading the reviews and get turned away as I had a completely different experience from what the other reviewer had. I’m trans and queer and had the time of my life in Granada, I stayed for three months from April to June and the school felt like home. It was welcoming and accepting of EVERYONE, and the teachers are the most energetic loving people you will ever meet. If you’re at all considering this school I wouldn’t let the other review put you off, because I can’t imagine what that person said happening in such a loving environment, so whatever problem the school could have had regarding that situation must have been resolved. Thank you linguaschools for the supportive environment! Have fun!

Studying at Linguaschools and living in Granada for almost three weeks was an incredible experience - a lifetime worth of memories to be cherished for a long time to come. The teachers were all one could wish for: professional, kind, helpful, funny. There are positive vibes throughout the school and both the staff, teachers and students are simply amazing. The extracurricular activities such as churros at Cafe de Futbol, a field trip to Carmen de los Mártires, tapas night or a field trip to Córdoba speak for themselves. I am already planning my trip back to Granada, the town I have totally fallen in love with. Needless to say I will be enrolling back to Linguaschools. Muchas gracias por todo. Volveré pronto.
